The Nature of Reality
I have finished my character profiles!!! *dancing in the streets*

Now I can finally get on with revising my outline and incoporating some of the notes I made during my hardcopy edit...I cannot tell you how relieved I am to finally have all those boring char profiles out of the way. =P I am so looking forward to finally finishing this damn novel. It's my novel and I love it, but I'm really ready to start moving on to different things and start expressing new ideas instead of just recyling old ones. Once TSW is finished, I can really start to move on. Yippee! =D

Oh, and um...AHOY, ME HEARTIES! HAPPY TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY...if'n ye don't like it, then ye can go and walk the plank!

I wonder, does it being Talk Like a Pirate day mean that I get to start singing "Gallifreyan Bucaneer" from Doctor Who and the Pirates at random intervals?
The Nature of Reality
Ohmygosh look what I just found. =D I now have large sticky notes plastered all over the monitor and speaker and anything else that doesn't move, covered in dates and times for all the different Miss Marple plays. Squeee.

They have Doctor Who as well, but right now all they're playing is Storm Warning, and I've already listened to that. But, according to [info]who_daily, the Eighth Doctor will be returning with a new companion (Yay! Charley was all right to start with but I was getting sick of her by the time Scherzo rolled around - no offense, India) sometime this Christmas. So basically this year I am going to be spending the entire winter season sitting in my cold basement squeeing like an idiot as I OD on Doctor Who.

Yeah, I can think of worse ways to die of hypothermia.

Hel, your country rocks. You have audio plays. =D And you have entire websites devoted to said plays. I SO wish we still had those here in America. Then again, we probably would if War of the Worlds hadn't sent half the country into a mindless panic... *grumble*

The Nature of Reality
Now listening to the Sixth Doctor Audio, entitled The One Doctor. I swear, this is quite possibly the funniest audio I have ever listened to. I get a stupid grin on my face just thinking about it. (AND HE WEARS THE CAPE. OMG. ♥) The high point so far is the TARDIS de-materialization noise being redone to sound like a flushing port-a-loo...*snickers madly* oh gods, that was PRICELESS. I laughed so hard I cried. This audio is almost as good as Doctor Who and the Pirates. (Do you know, Colin Baker actually doesn't have that bad of a singing voice! I was surprised.)

Also, I thoroughly deny any accusations that I am eating up valuable hard drive space by stealing everyone's Doctor Who icons. Just like I thoroughly deny that my addiction is so bad that during times when [info]dwicons is too slow, I start going through the user list and combing through their profiles for shareable icons....and YES, I FINALLY SUBMITTED AND GOT DOCTOR WHO COLORBARS. *sob* I'm weak! I couldn't resist! They had one with Five's glasses on it! I was powerless to resist! *headdesk* Powerless, I say!

/fangirl ramblings which probably make her look like an absolute git

Bob's profile is almost finished. That'll make five out of eleven profiles that I've finished. I think I can definitely get all these done by the end of the month, as well as outline adjustments. Then I think my next goal will be to finish the revision of the novel by the end of October. That'll give my First Readers the entire month of November to read it over while I work on NaNoWriMo. I think this year I'll do something fun, light hearted, and short. I've had far too much of the serious fantasy-elves-dragons-magic stuff. Time to do something modern, or sci-fi, so I can exercise my talent for humor a little bit. I like TSW but it turned out awfully serious.

Me? An over achiever? What makes you say that?
9th-Aug-2006 06:19 pm - Have you played with a Yo-Yo lately?
The Nature of Reality
Website update.

I actually didn't spend the entire day immersed in Doctor Who! And I actually listened to non-Who music!

Egads, Watson!

I am not, however, powerful enough to resist the urge to use a Doctor Who icon for this journal entry. Some things just shouldn't be attempted.

Also, I have officially come to the conclusion that no sensible traveler wanders without at least one Yo-Yo close at hand.

No pun intended.

Big Finish turned Sarah Jane Smith into an adult version of Nancy Drew with their Sarah Jane Smith audios. I'm not sure whether or not to be offended by this.

I think I'll choose not to be offended 'cause I really like Sarah, and they're decently put together audios.

Too bad Ace didn't get any spin-offs. Now THAT would have been kick ass. ♥ Ace.

Done now. *TARDIS de-materialization noises*
